Putin signs bills on capital amnesty until March 2019
MOSCOW, Feb 19 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a package of documents to hold capital amnesty from March 1, 2018 through February 28, 2019, according to bills revealed on the official portal of legal information on Monday.
A previous amnesty was in force from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016.
Capital amnesty allows Russians to declare their foreign assets, avoid tax avoidance claims, and start paying taxes in Russia.
Putin called for prolongation of capital amnesty in late 2017.
